Don Sutcliffe sent me a schedule which looked good so we headed off to Whiston on the Saturday.

The plot was full of flowers the couple of days before.

I ended up having a good cut and subsequently had some good results in the show winning the premier class.

Len Bailey also had some nice spikes in.

The schedule has quite a large gladioli section catering for the various sizes of glads.

Around the show there were good roses especially from Tony Bracegirdle and also lots of good cut flower entries.
